The Building
Across from Langone Park.
19 Greenough Lane sits on a quiet North End side street, just off the bustle of Hanover and Salem. Directly across the way: Langone Park and Puopolo Playground — fields, basketball courts, a playground, and a pool. A rare mix of cozy city living and real outdoor space.
Seven renovated homes — five studios and two 1-bedrooms — across a six-story walk-up plus a garden-level unit. All utilities included (heat, hot water, electric, and gas), Amazon Key keyless entry, and 24/7 surveillance cameras. The kind of "set it and forget it" setup that lets you just live in the North End.

FAQ
How do I apply?+
Apply online directly through our website — no broker, no in-person visit required. You'll need proof of income (last two pay stubs or offer letter), photo ID, and a credit check authorization. Lease signing happens electronically through our secure portal.
What do I pay at lease signing?+
First month, last month, security deposit, and a $50 application fee per applicant. No broker fee, no amenity fee, no other surprises.
Do you allow pets?+
Pets are reviewed case-by-case rather than blanket-approved or denied. Reach out and we'll talk through breed, weight, and number.
What utilities am I responsible for?+
All utilities are included in your rent — heat, hot water, electric, and gas. You're responsible for internet and cable. That's the whole point of this building: set it and forget it.
Is there an elevator at 19 Greenough Lane?+
No. 19 Greenough Lane is a six-story walk-up with a garden-level unit (Unit B). Each upper-floor unit is on its own floor; Unit 6 is the top-floor unit.
How does Amazon Key entry work?+
Every DJ Realty building uses Amazon Key for keyless entry. You and trusted Amazon couriers get access through the Amazon Key app, so your packages land safely inside the building entryway instead of on the sidewalk.
Are the buildings monitored?+
Yes. All DJ Realty buildings have surveillance cameras recording 24/7. Footage is reviewed only when there's a reported incident.
Who handles maintenance requests?+
Our in-house construction team. We have a Licensed Construction Supervisor and Licensed Real Estate Broker on staff, with a full-time crew based in the North End. For non-emergency requests, we respond by email or text within 1 to 24 hours. For emergencies (water, heat, security), we respond 24/7.
What's the lease length?+
Standard leases are 12 months. We do offer some flexibility for academic-year leases (9-10 months) on select units — ask if that's what you need.
Can I tour remotely or apply from out of state?+
Yes. Many of our tenants apply before they're physically in Boston. We do video tours, accept remote applications, and handle electronic lease signing. You don't need to be in Boston until move-in day.
What's the parking situation?+
Tenants are eligible for a City of Boston resident on-street parking permit in the North End. The building does not have off-street parking.
Want to see it in person?
