The Building
Steps from Haymarket and the Greenway.
157 Endicott Street sits on a brick-lined block in the heart of the North End, a short walk from Friday and Saturday mornings at Haymarket — Boston's longtime open-air market — and the Greenway just past it. The kind of tucked-away neighborhood feel that comes with all the city right outside your door.
Nine renovated homes across a five-story walk-up — five 1-bedrooms, three 2-bedrooms, and a top-floor 4-bedroom. Amazon Key keyless entry, shared on-site laundry, and 24/7 surveillance cameras. Easy, secure North End living without the corporate-landlord runaround.

The Neighborhood
Live in Boston's Little Italy without "commuting" to it.
Endicott Street puts you on the practical, lived-in side of the North End — a short walk to Haymarket's Friday and Saturday morning chaos, the Greenway's parks and food trucks, and Hanover Street when you want pasta. The last weekend in August, your front door sits on the route: St. Anthony's Feast — running since 1919 and dubbed the "feast of all feasts" by National Geographic — closes down Endicott for three days of food vendors, marching bands, and a 10-hour Sunday procession.

FAQ
How do I apply?+
Apply online directly through our website — no broker, no in-person visit required. You'll need proof of income (last two pay stubs or offer letter), photo ID, and a credit check authorization. Lease signing happens electronically through our secure portal.
What do I pay at lease signing?+
First month, last month, security deposit, and a $50 application fee per applicant. No broker fee, no amenity fee, no other surprises.
Do you allow pets?+
Pets are reviewed case-by-case rather than blanket-approved or denied. Reach out and we'll talk through breed, weight, and number.
Which units have in-unit washer and dryer?+
Unit 1 has an in-unit washer and dryer. The other apartments use the building's shared on-site laundry — you don't need to leave the building.
Which units have A/C?+
Unit 5L has central air conditioning. The building doesn't have building-wide central air; A/C in that unit is unit-specific.
What utilities am I responsible for?+
Tenants pay their own heat, electric, and gas at 157 Endicott. Hot water is included in some units and tenant-paid in others — when you reach out about a specific apartment, we'll let you know which side that unit falls on.
Is there an elevator at 157 Endicott Street?+
No. 157 Endicott Street is a five-story walk-up. Some floors have one apartment, others have two (a Left and Right unit). Units 5L and 5R are the top-floor apartments.
How does Amazon Key entry work?+
Every DJ Realty building uses Amazon Key for keyless entry. You and trusted Amazon couriers get access through the Amazon Key app, so your packages land safely inside the building entryway instead of on the sidewalk.
Are the buildings monitored?+
Yes. All DJ Realty buildings have surveillance cameras recording 24/7. Footage is reviewed only when there's a reported incident.
Who handles maintenance requests?+
Our in-house construction team. We have a Licensed Construction Supervisor and Licensed Real Estate Broker on staff, with a full-time crew based in the North End. For non-emergency requests, we respond by email or text within 1 to 24 hours. For emergencies (water, heat, security), we respond 24/7.
What's the lease length?+
Standard leases are 12 months. We do offer some flexibility for academic-year leases (9-10 months) on select units — ask if that's what you need.
Can I tour remotely or apply from out of state?+
Yes. Many of our tenants apply before they're physically in Boston. We do video tours, accept remote applications, and handle electronic lease signing. You don't need to be in Boston until move-in day.
What's the parking situation?+
Tenants are eligible for a City of Boston resident on-street parking permit in the North End. The building does not have off-street parking.
